Took our family out to Sandestin last week and I had to share some photos. I couldn’t resist. :)

8 years ago TODAY (May 17th) Cheryl walked down this boardwalk to the beach to marry me. Such a lucky guy! The reception was held at her parents house (above Nathan’s head).

I’m beyond in love with this photograph. I will blow this up and hang it somewhere… just need to decide where.

Family Vacation in North Carolina

Just got back from a much needed, very relaxing vacation out in Boone NC. Got some skiing in, some time with family and even a little bit of time to whip out the camera for some shots. Ahhh. I miss it already.

Our Brand Spankin New Baby Karis!!

This has been a long time comin. I’m still in the thick of crazy wedding season, but thought I’d take a break and post our cute new little baby girl, Karis. She was born on 09/09/09 – how stereotypical of a wedding can I get? :)

Karis Linley Perkins weighed in at 8lbs 3oz and 20.5inches. She’s a really good mix of Dad & Mom, but Mom and I agree, she has a lot of Nathan in her. Without further ado, some baby pics!

I’m not quite sure if Nathan is practicing his Thriller routine, or if he’s just trying to scare the neighbors into moving. :)

Well, I have a sweet little girl now. :) She was born on 09/09/09 and weighed 8lbs 3oz, measuring 20.5in. She’s an absolute cutie and can already tell you, she’s gonna be a Daddy’s girl. :)

Cheryl and Karis are doing quite well, even little Nathan is being such a gentle, loving brother to his sister.

I can’t wait to post some cute shots of her (so expect those soon!!) but for now, here are a few shots from her birth. Don’t worry, nothing too crazy. :)

I love this shot. Nathan was so curious. He kept pointing to her saying: Bebe. Bebe.

Nathan really wanted to go nigh nigh with Karis. He wouldn’t let anyone take her away. :)

My wife and I and some friends took a sweet vacation last week in Destin. It was a much needed “couple-time” getaway. It was soooooo relaaaaxing. While we were there, I took some pregnant pics of my beautiful wife who is due on 09/09/09 — believe it or not! Allow me to introduce the creative artisan behind all of our RedTree albums: Cheryl Perkins. She makes our beautiful, luscious RedTree albums. Don’t be shy, say Hello in the comments! :)

So here’s where we stayed. In the Luau of San Destin, FL. Beautiful location for anyone planning a trip to the beach!

All the photos were taken on the very beach Cheryl and I were married on 6yrs ago: Grayton Beach, FL… right next to Sea Side – the famous place where the Truman Show was filmed.

Work it girl.

Our friends Ryan & Lesli joined us for the trip! This week was SO much fun with them and I couldn’t imagine spending it without them.

I’m such a lucky guy. My wife is so much more than just drop dead gorgeous. God has really blessed me beyond my understanding and certainly beyond what I deserve. But I’ll take the drop dead gorgeous part too. :)

I surprised the family yesterday for a fun little trip to Bryant’s Blueberries. We had so much fun. More than once I had to tell my son not to eat so many, but to put them in the bucket. :) I thought I’d share a quick slideshow of some of the pics I took yesterday. Happy New Year everyone! I can’t tell you how excited I am about 2009 and all that we have going on. It’s going to be a great year.

Here’s one good reason to be friends with a photographer. :) Todd Pellowe and I did our annual family photo session trade (I shot his fam, he shot mine) and I couldn’t be more excited about the pics! Thought I’d share a few…
