Angi & Lee, Louisville Engagement

August 18th, 2008

Angi & Lee are hysterical. They really are so much fun to be around… and you can definitely tell by their photos, they are one happy couple!! Here are some shots from their engagement session.

(Oh.. and we’re cranking away at several weddings, engagement sessions & seniors… so keep tuning into the blog for lots of updates coming soon!)

This photo makes me laugh… I think it’s cause I have a 1yr old (Nathan) who I sneak up on all the time like Angi is… and go “Boo!” He loves it.

My son’s first birthday..

August 14th, 2008

My wife Cheryl, son Nathan and I just got back from a wonderful vacation up in New Hampshire. My grandparents own a huge peninsula up there with cabins on Lake Waukewan… which was where we stayed for the past week. The purpose? Sort of a family reunion and of course, to celebrate Nathan’s 1st birthday.

In honor of him, here are a few photos from the week.

Mmm. I always get my detail cake shots. ;)
nh01.jpg

We have a golden… but this is my Dad’s golden. In honor of all goldens (the best dogs on the universe)… here’s a pic of Henry relaxing.
nh02.jpg

Henry has a watchful eye. Always looking for food scrapings falling off the table.
nh03.jpg

There’s something about my boy and light. Since he’s my first… it may be just a baby thing. But this boy is crazy about light. He’ll probably be a photographer like his dad one day… cause light is the most important element of photography. :)
nh04.jpg

Mom try some!
nh06.jpg

Yummy.
nh07.jpg

A couple of fun shots outside. Man, is he cute or what?
nh08.jpg

Such a sweet boy!
nh09.jpg

Ah, the scenery was beautiful. I miss it already!
nh10.jpg

Ok. Back to work now… :)

Tiffany & Chris, Louisville Wedding Photography

August 4th, 2008

I was so excited to shoot Tiffany & Chris’ wedding, mainly because I had so much fun shooting their engagement session and I knew it was going to be just incredible. Major props to the lovely ladies at ShaFox for coordinating the wedding so well! So here are some photos from the wedding!

A little dress detail.

This was a funny moment when Chris walked in the sanctuary during pre-ceremony formals. All the ladies were scrambling to hide Tiffany.

Chris was very excited to see Tiffany. It shows!

Christy & Matt, Corydon Wedding Photography

Christy & Matt had a totally chill wedding up on a farm in Corydon, Indiana. Lots of funny moments at this wedding, for sure! Here are a few photos.

In fact, everyone was really excited.

After the ceremony, the bridal party drove out to a huge field for some photos. Of course, before we get started, we had to break out the champaign.

I love this portrait of Christy & Matt.

I mean you gotta do this shot when a pitchfork is nearby. What else would you use a pitchfork for?
cm_254.jpg

…well I guess it could be for this!
cm_256.jpg

Back at the reception site, Dad was enjoying a nice cigar.
cm_290.jpg

I love this moment with Matt and his mom.
cm_322.jpg

I knew this was coming. Brides words during our pre-wedding consult were, “the cake is gonna fly”. Ouch! That kind of looks like it hurts!
