Cassie & Joey are one of my latest CPK folks (CPK as in California Pizza Kitchen). Joey works there and over the past few years I’ve shot a number of weddings from people who work or have worked at CPK. So HEY to all the CPKers out there and thanks for all the great referrals!! Much love!! :)

Without further ado, their engagement session (with a surprise ending).

You never know what you’re going to get on an engagement session.

I really enjoyed shooting for Jodie & Noah at the Frazier Museum, downtown Louisville. The wedding and reception was there. It was an absolute beautiful day. Here are some pics from their wedding & reception.

Funny story about Amber & Cory. I met them at our studio for a wedding consult prior to them hiring me. After we get acquainted, I come to find out they actually attend the same church my wife and I go to. Crazy right? Well not that crazy… except for the fact that our church is a small church plant of about 100 or so. I really should get to know my church family better. :) :) Well… in my defense, they had only been going a couple of weeks. :)

Well, I have a sweet little girl now. :) She was born on 09/09/09 and weighed 8lbs 3oz, measuring 20.5in. She’s an absolute cutie and can already tell you, she’s gonna be a Daddy’s girl. :)

Cheryl and Karis are doing quite well, even little Nathan is being such a gentle, loving brother to his sister.

I can’t wait to post some cute shots of her (so expect those soon!!) but for now, here are a few shots from her birth. Don’t worry, nothing too crazy. :)

Nathan really wanted to go nigh nigh with Karis. He wouldn’t let anyone take her away. :)
